Key Responsibilities
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Prime Health Counseling, you will:
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and relational dynamics.
- Provide individual therapy, couple’s therapy, and family therapy, addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, adjustment to separation and divorce, and more.
- Facilitate sessions that incorporate both individual viewpoints and collective family dynamics.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Monitor client progress and modify treatment approaches as necessary.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional and legal standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus
You will work with a diverse population that includes adults and children/adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. Your expertise will support families navigating complex issues including blended family dynamics, separation and divorce anxieties, and communication difficulties. By delivering compassionate care tailored to individual needs, you will play a key role in strengthening family bonds and improving overall quality of life.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping individuals and families overcome their challenges.
Preferred Experience
