Nurse Practitioner – MinuteClinic | Austin, TX

Location: Austin, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | 32.5 hours/week
Setting: In-person, patient-facing

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced  Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)to join a MinuteClinic care team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have recent primary care or urgent care experience and be comfortable practicing autonomously while collaborating with a dedicated clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions and provide patient education and health counseling.
• Perform routine examinations, screenings, and diagnostic testing.
• Develop comprehensive care plans and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Support chronic condition management, wellness, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
• Handle patient appointments, follow-up, documentation, and other clinic administrative responsibilities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-focused clinical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a  Family Nurse Practitioner program .
• Current national board certification.
• Active Texas NP license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of recent primary care, family medicine, or urgent care experience.
• Current  BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association .
• Ability to practice autonomously and work effectively within a clinical care team.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and technology skills.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensures as needed.
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
