Assistant Store ManagerCompany: Jetro / Restaurant Depot Location: 2002 Industrial Drive, Bethlehem, PA 18017 Job Type: Full-time Sector: Senior Management Compensation: $28.84 - $29.81Job SummaryThe Assistant Store Manager supports overall retail, grocery and warehouse operations by assisting in driving performance, ensuring compliance, and maintaining operational standards across all departments. This role works closely with the Store Manager to support execution, reinforce accountability, and ensure alignment with company policies, audit expectations, and operational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily retail, grocery and warehouse operations across all departments to ensure efficient execution and alignment with company standardsAssist in enforcing compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit requirementsMonitor operational performance including sales, inventory accuracy, shrink, and execution of standardsReinforce accountability with department managers to ensure responsibilities are consistently executedSupport audit readiness and assist in implementing corrective actions from audit resultsAssist with staffing, scheduling, and coordination of team activitiesSupport execution of inventory control, receiving, merchandising, and operational processesMaintain strong customer service standards and assist in resolving escalated issuesEnsure adherence to safety, food safety, and regulatory requirementsCommunicate operational risks, issues, or gaps to the Store ManagerSupport maintaining overall branch organization, cleanliness, and operational readinessQualificationsPrevious experience in retail, warehouse, or groceryStrong understanding of multi-department retail operationsExperience working in a leadership or supervisory support roleStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and coordination skillsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)Preferred QualificationsExperience in Assistant Store Manager or similar leadership support roleFamiliarity with operational audits and compliance standardsExperience in high-volume retail or wholesale environmentsWork Environment / ExpectationsPrimarily retail, grocery or warehouse environment. Requires active involvement in daily operations across all departments, including time spent on the floor supporting execution.
