VetWise Remote Veterinarian Opportunity

VetWise is a provider of virtual care services in the veterinary industry, offering innovative solutions to problems facing veterinary professionals. We are dedicated to collaborating with animal hospitals by enhancing their in-person services, extending care availability and easing the workload on brick-and-mortar practices. Your Role:

• Provide virtual consultations for pet owners in Florida and additional states/provinces where you hold licensure in accordance with applicable telemedicine regulations
• Collaborate with hospitals to support their patient needs
• Opportunity to provide care for exotics if desired

Our Requirements:

• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Unrestricted license to practice veterinary medicine in Florida
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing veterinarian
• Strong client communication skills, sound clinical judgment, and critical thinking abilities
• Experience working with exotic species is considered an asset
• Preference will be given to candidates licensed in multiple provinces/states, including Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Florida, New York
• A passion for improving access to veterinary care

Schedule

• This is a casual/on-demand role
• Consultations are available based on client volume and our services are offered 24/7, 365 days of the year

Location

• Remote - Licensed in the state of Florida

Compensation

• Compensation is commission-based and varies depending on the species and consult type.
