ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer. Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. There will be continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift. Route Store Type: Conv Store – Location: Rotterdam NY 12306 – Available Workdays: Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday Grocery Store – Schenectady NY 12302 – Available Workdays: Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday Grocery Store – Schenectady NY 12303 – Available Workdays: Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday Responsibilities Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Use a downloadable app on mobile phone to scan barcodes throughout each store. Provide the quantity of about 45% of the products scanned. Complete Display Scanning on the entire store weekly. Participate in Custom Projects for specific product details, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work each week for those stores. Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain high quality data. Qualifications At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage. Ability to endure being on feet for long periods, accessing products throughout store. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand. Perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
