A day in the life on 2nd/3rd shift — Frankfort Core Plant

Picture your shift at Frito-Lay’s Frankfort Core Plant: you arrive ready to keep our production lines humming. You’ll build sturdy cases by fan-folding and taping or by operating a case erector, then pack product either by hand or using automated equipment. You stay on the line until you’re relieved for breaks, perform frequent quality checks, switch the line over when products change, and wrap up with housekeeping and sanitation so the next run starts clean and safe.

• Construct boxes manually or with automated case erectors and pack finished goods
• Run regular quality checks to uphold product standards
• Set lines up during changeovers to minimize downtime
• Maintain housekeeping and complete required sanitation routines

• Safety-focused, flexible, and committed teammates who enjoy fast-paced work
• People comfortable being on their feet for the entire shift and staying with the line until relief

Openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift at our Frankfort Core Plant. We hold an on-site Interview Day on 6/29/26.
