Urgent Care Veterinarian

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM) to join a well-established, veterinarian-owned veterinary practice in North Seattle. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian interested in urgent care medicine, collaborative practice, professional growth, and long-term career development.

The practice is part of a private, AAHA-accredited six-hospital veterinary group with more than 55 years of experience serving the community. The veterinary team includes 18+ DVMs, including an on-staff Internal Medicine Specialist, along with highly experienced support staff. The practice emphasizes excellent patient care, teamwork, client service, professional development, and work-life balance.

The practice offers access to ultrasound, endoscopy, laser surgery, digital imaging, mobile specialists in Ultrasound, Cardiology, and Surgery, on-staff Internal Medicine Specialist, regular DVM meetings, case discussions and specialist presentations, continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities include providing high-quality urgent care veterinary medicine, diagnosing and treating a broad range of urgent medical conditions, performing appropriate diagnostic procedures and developing treatment plans, collaborating with DVMs, specialists, LVTs, and support staff, communicating effectively and compassionately with pet owners, participating in doctor meetings, case discussions, and continuing education, maintaining excellent standards of patient care and client service.

Qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary program, Washington State Veterinary License preferred, previous veterinary experience; urgent care experience is highly desirable, strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a collaborative veterinary environment, management experience preferred, strong commitment to patient care and client service.

Schedule options include Full-Time or Part-Time, 10- and/or 12-hour shifts, full-time schedule: 12 days per 4-week rotation, averaging approximately 3 days per week. Full-time benefits available.
