Details Med Surg 7W unit within an acute care hospital setting Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 13-week assignment length Every other weekend and every other holiday required May be placed on a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit based on skill set and greatest facility need Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active WI or compact RN license Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) NIH Stroke Scale certification required 2 years of PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry acute care experience required Travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Must complete RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills validation Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information Care for patients on a stepdown/telemetry or med-surg unit depending on placement Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address COVID vaccination is not required Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility Candidates should discuss assignment extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date American Traveler Job ID P-748970.
