Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students in a variety of school settings near Santa Clara, CA! This dynamic role as a paraprofessional offers the chance to work closely with students from elementary through high school, providing both one-on-one assistance and classroom support in general and special education environments. You’ll play a vital part in helping students succeed, whether it’s assisting with academic tasks, guiding them during transitions, or supporting them at lunch.

Key Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience as a paraprofessional in school settings
• Background in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) practices within schools, clinics, or in-home settings is also considered
• Possess a high school diploma or higher (required)

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering direct 1:1 and group support for students – some may need academic help, while others benefit from assistance with daily activities and transitions
• Collaborating with classroom teachers and other staff to ensure a positive learning environment
• Adapting to the unique needs of students in both general education and special education classrooms
• Providing encouragement and guidance throughout the school day

This is a 30-hour, five-day-a-week contract running from September 2, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Compensation is offered at $25 per hour, with weekly pay.
