Junior Leasing Agent

ABOUT THE ROLE BrandView is a commercial real estate investor/operator based in Los Angeles. Focused on retail and mixed-use across Southern California, we run leasing in-house and we’re looking for a Junior Agent to join the team who will be the leasing engine at the very top of the funnel. Your job is to find the right tenants, get them genuinely interested, and build a pipeline so warm and qualified that the space practically leases itself. The pipeline you build is your book. Fill it with the right brands, book tours, and hand off right‑fit prospects that nobody else could. Performance in this role opens the path to owning your own listings (with the upside that comes with it). You’ll work directly with our Director of Leasing on target tenant profiles, sourcing strategy, and positioning while learning how to negotiate and close deals from the ground up. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Hunting for the right tenants by walking blocks, clocking empty storefronts, and knowing the three brands and operators that belong in each one Canvassing neighborhoods on foot, tracking storefronts, and meeting operators on their turf Building well-researched outreach lists that actually convert Getting on the phone. Cold calls, warm calls, texts, all of it. Sending on-brand weekly email blasts that people actually open Running email drip campaigns that turn a cold contact into a warm, booked tour Building beautiful, personalized leasing decks help a brand envision themselves in the space Qualifying interest and handing off a pipeline that’s ready for the rest of the team to run with WHO YOU ARE You have taste. You know what’s cool, what’s coming, and which retail, F&B, and micro-hospitality concepts are about to be everywhere (well before they blow up) You’re a hunter. Sourcing, prospecting, and filling a pipeline is the part you actually like You’re polished where it counts. You can write a clean email, hold a room, and switch from a TikTok caption to a tenant pitch without missing a beat You’re organized enough to run ten outreach plays at once without missing a beat You are extremely coachable, highly motivated, and fiercely competitive. You’re self-driven, a little relentless and motivated by 100% commission.
