Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols. Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines for medical imaging while adhering to safety standards. Follow strict infection control procedures using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure seamless patient care delivery within general dentistry practices. Requirements Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional licensing boards. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Familiarity with infection control standards, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques. Ability to perform chairside assisting duties efficiently within a four-handed dentistry setup.
