Substitute CustodianTo substitute for the custodial/maintenance department for Florence County School District Five on an as needed basis.Thank you for your interest in serving as a substitute for Florence County School District Five. Completed applications will be reviewed as new substitutes are needed.A South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) criminal history report is required for every prospective employee of Florence County School District Five. The district office will obtain this report.INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS OVER 60 DAYS WILL BE DELETED.FLORENCE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT FIVE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERQualifications:High School DiplomaDemonstrated aptitude for successful completion of tasks assignedExperience in cleaning of buildingsAbility to get along well with studentsSuch alternative qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptableReports To: Lead CustodianJob Goal: To maintain the physical school plant and grounds in a condition of excellence so that full educational use of them may be made at all timesPerformance Responsibilities:Maintains the school grounds.Participates in the general cleaning and maintenance of the school building.Assumes responsibility for the general security of the building.Assumes responsibility for the general fire safety of the building.Performs emergency cleaning services as necessary.Performs such other tasks as may be assigned.Working Conditions:Lifting, operating, carrying, and moving work-related supplies/equipment. Position requires medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
