Being part of a quickly growing financial institution leaves room for personal growth, and we do our best to promote from within whenever possible.What does a day as a Staff Attorney at Leaders Credit Union look like?As a staff attorney at Leaders, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal department in various legal matters. Your expertise will help ensure that our institution operates within the legal framework and maintains the highest standards of integrity and compliance. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Preparing and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreementsEnsuring compliance with regulatory requirementsConducting legal research and analysis on various issuesManaging and organizing legal files, documents, and recordsCoordinating with internal departments to gather necessary information for legal matters.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the financial industry.Providing administrative support to the legal department as needed.What is the schedule? Our hours for this position are 8:00 am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Sometimes giving top-notch member service may require a little overtime, but we value work-life-balance and do our best to limit this.Does your skillset and experience line up? For this role, we are looking for someone who:Has a law degree from an accredited law schoolExcellent research, analytical, and organizational skillsHigh attention to detailMust maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workersMust have very strong communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with keen attention to detail.What is next?
