Job Title: MRI Technologist (Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist)

• Shift: Saturday, Sunday, Monday
• Hours: 11:30 AM – 12:00 Midnight
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts
• On-Call Requirement: Yes
• Floating Required: Yes
• Dress Code: Teal Scrubs

PAY DETAILS:

Hourly Pay: $56 - $62/hr

Position Summary:

The MRI Technologist performs routine and advanced MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and efficient workflow. Responsibilities include patient screening, imaging procedures, IV starts, MRI safety compliance, equipment troubleshooting, quality assurance activities, and collaboration with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff. The technologist supports smooth patient throughput and maintains compliance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory standards.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or approved equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred .
• Previous hospital or clinical imaging experience preferred.
• Experience with IV starts preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT Certification required (within 1 year of hire if applicable).
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required.
• State MRI/Radiologic Technologist licensure required where applicable.
• New Mexico: MRT by MIRTP/NMED required.
