Sam's Club #4778 4350 Joslyn Rd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326-1329 Role Summary Prepared Food Associate – responsible for product preparation, team support, food safety, and customer service in a fast‑moving store environment. Responsibilities Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of prepared food specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates, and adapt to business needs. Expert: Prepare food per specifications, plan production, adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold‑chain and inventory standards, operate and maintain equipment. Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, including handheld systems for production decisions, inventory, and training. Owner: Drive area performance: stock, rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date control, eliminate waste, and provide member service and resolution of member issues. Talent Ambassador: Advocate the brand, influence, inspire teamwork, respect, and support others, and assist with training. Comply with company policies, procedures and a code of ethics; use the Open Door Policy and execute business processes accordingly. Complete work assignments, prioritize, collaborate with managers and partners, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Basic food safety knowledge. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage range: $17.00 – $25.00*; premiums up to $3.00 per hour may apply. *Actual rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage.
