About the Role

The Company is in search of a Managing Director for its Strategic Advisory Group. The successful candidate will be a key leader in operational turnarounds and financial restructurings, with a strong background in both in and out of bankruptcy court, as well as experience in Receiverships and Assignments for the Benefit of Creditors. This role demands a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement plans, particularly in crisis situations with limited resources. The Managing Director will be responsible for leading and managing a team, interacting with various stakeholders, and providing expert guidance in investment banking, valuation, litigation support, and asset disposition. Business development is a critical aspect of the role, requiring the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships within the legal, lending, and investor communities. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a minimum of 20 years' of experience in the turnaround and restructuring marketplace, with a proven track record in both leading assignments and business development. A Bachelor's degree is required, and advanced degrees such as a JD or MBA are a plus. The role requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure, chaotic environments. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, meeting deadlines, and be willing to travel as needed. The position is suited to an individual who is entrepreneurial, highly driven, and capable of leading a team to achieve the goals and objectives of distressed organizations.
