Physician Recruiter

Position Summary The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified Physicians (MD/DO) and Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) to meet the organization's staffing needs. The role requires a strong understanding of healthcare recruiting, licensure and credentialing requirements, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with executive leadership, regional leadership, clinic operations, and hiring managers, the Recruiter delivers an exceptional candidate experience while ensuring timely, high-quality hiring outcomes. Description Position Summary The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified Physicians (MD/DO) and Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) to meet the organization's staffing needs. The role requires a strong understanding of healthcare recruiting, licensure and credentialing requirements, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with executive leadership, regional leadership, clinic operations, and hiring managers, the Recruiter delivers an exceptional candidate experience while ensuring timely, high-quality hiring outcomes. Responsibilities Own the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned provider positions - sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer negotiation. Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for hard-to-fill or high-volume positions. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Utilize job boards, professional networks, social media, and direct sourcing methods to identify and engage candidates. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations, including EEOC and healthcare credentialing standards. Represent the organization at job fairs, professional association meetings, and community events to promote employment opportunities. Collaborate with HR, Training, and Credentialing teams to ensure timely onboarding and credential verification for new hires. Track and report recruitment metrics to assess hiring efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. 3–5 years of recruitment experience in healthcare/medical staffing Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruitment for clinical roles, including MD/DO and NP/PA Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with ATS/HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity, iCIMS, ADP, or similar). Knowledge of healthcare compliance, credentialing, and licensure processes. High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
