Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Role Overview: This position involves providing critical nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department, implementing and adapting patient care plans, and ensuring seamless transitions of care through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Drive life-saving interventions by monitoring and responding to complex patient conditions. Coordinate patient care with physicians, specialists, and technical staff for high-quality outcomes. Act as the primary advocate for patients by communicating urgent status changes promptly. Develop and execute discharge and follow-up strategies to support patient recovery. Qualifications & Skills Valid Registered Nurse license from the Indiana Board of Nursing. Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of employment. Preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification. Graduation from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure. Additional Information The role requires working days from 7:00am to 7:30pm, with every third weekend rotation.
