Assistant Teacher

SPANISH FOR FUN!

Reporta a: Maestra principal y director del Centro. El asistente de maestra, asistente flotante y personal sustituto tiene como principal responsabilidad apoyar a la maestra líder en satisfacer las necesidades del aula y de los niños, asegurando el cumplimiento de los lineamientos establecidos y las tareas asignadas. Este rol se enfoca en colaborar activamente en la estimulación y formación integral de los niños, garantizando en todo momento su bienestar físico, emocional y social, mientras se fomenta un ambiente seguro, enriquecedor y alineado con los valores de la escuela. Trabajo en equipo colaborativo: Colabora eficazmente con colegas, fomentando un ambiente de trabajo positivo y participativo. Comunicación positiva: Promueve un diálogo respetuoso y constructivo con estudiantes, padres y colegas, favoreciendo la comprensión y el apoyo mutuo. Enfoque al cliente: Atiende a las necesidades de los niños y las familias, buscando siempre la mejor experiencia educativa. Planificación: Organiza actividades pedagógicas y recursos de manera estratégica para cumplir con los objetivos educativos. Agente de clima: Fomenta un ambiente de aula inclusivo y respetuoso, donde todos los niños y adultos se sientan valorados. Sensibilidad interpersonal: Reconoce y responde con empatía a las necesidades emocionales de los niños y los adultos en el entorno escolar. Sensibilidad política: Mantiene una actitud diplomática y profesional en situaciones que requieren discreción y tacto. Respeto: Modela y promueve el respeto hacia todas las personas dentro y fuera del aula, fomentando un ambiente de confianza y colaboración.

REQUISITOS DE EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA

HS Degree + Early Childhood NC Credentials (with at least 18 EC Ed credits) o Bachelor en Educación, Psicología. AA/AAS en Desarrollo de la Primera Infancia o Desarrollo Infantil. Mínimo de 1 año de experiencia comprobable en la primera infancia. Deseable Certificación en RCP y primeros auxilios. Verificación de antecedentes penales (DHHS Criminal Background Check). Comunicación fluida en español e inglés. Habilidad para trabajar bajo presión en un ambiente dinámico. Automotivación, iniciativa y capacidad de trabajar con supervisión mínima. Resolución de problemas de manera creativa y efectiva. Fomentar el trabajo en equipo y mantener relaciones positivas con colegas y familias. Agilidad física: Capacidad para moverse con facilidad dentro del aula, incluyendo arrodillarse, agacharse, gatear, correr y saltar para interactuar con los niños en su nivel. Interacción física activa: Capacidad para ponerse al nivel del niño físicamente, ya sea sentado en el suelo o arrodillado, para promover un ambiente de cercanía y confianza. Adaptabilidad al movimiento: Habilidad para realizar movimientos rápidos y precisos cuando sea necesario para garantizar la seguridad de los niños, como asistirlos durante el juego o en situaciones de riesgo.

DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES

Apoyo Educativo Colabora con la maestra líder en la planificación y ejecución de actividades pedagógicas, asegurando que estén alineadas con los lineamientos y políticas de SFF!. Gestión y Supervisión del Aula Asiste en la organización y supervisión de las actividades diarias del aula, promoviendo un ambiente estructurado y enriquecedor. Ayuda a mantener actualizada la asistencia diaria de los niños y reporta cualquier incidencia a la maestra líder o al equipo administrativo. Garantiza que todas las actividades cumplan con las regulaciones y normativas del DCDEE y los estándares de SFF!. Colaboración en Reuniones y Eventos Participa de manera activa en reuniones de planificación, talleres de capacitación y eventos escolares, contribuyendo con ideas y soluciones prácticas para mejorar la experiencia educativa. Apoya en la preparación y ejecución de eventos escolares, asegurando la integración y el bienestar de los niños y las familias. Seguridad y Sanidad en el Aula Cumple con las normas de seguridad e higiene establecidas por SFF! y el DCDEE, manteniendo el aula limpia, organizada y libre de riesgos. Se asegura que los materiales y juguetes sean seguros, apropiados y desinfectados regularmente. Supervisa las prácticas de higiene personal de los niños, fomentando hábitos saludables como el lavado de manos y la organización de sus pertenencias. Interacción y Apoyo a los Niños Promueve interacciones positivas entre los niños, ayudándolos a desarrollar habilidades sociales y resolver conflictos de manera constructiva. Proporciona apoyo emocional y físico cuando sea necesario, respetando la individualidad y las necesidades específicas de cada niño. #J-18808-Ljbffr SPANISH FOR FUN!
