LPHA Supervisor I

Prototypes Women's Center in Pomona is a 180-bed residential facility tailored specifically to women, including those who wish to involve their children in their journey to recovery. Our program aims to assist women in maintaining their progress in overcoming co-occurring disorders through a wide range of supportive services. Children can foster a secure attachment with their mothers in a secure setting, while also accessing mental health support and educational assistance. Our interdisciplinary team of professionals provides comprehensive treatment for substance use disorders and mental health, parenting, educational, and life skills courses. Treatment can range from 60 days to 6 months.

The LPHA Supervisor I provides clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of Prototypes Women's Center. The LPHA Supervisor I ensures that all clinical services provided are evidence-based, strength-based, trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally competent and provided in an ethical and legal manner and in accordance with HealthRIGHT 360's policies, procedures, mission, vision, and program regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide thorough clinical assessments, diagnoses, individual and group services to a caseload of clients in need of substance use disorder treatment.
• Work with the client to develop client-centered treatment plans.
• Monitor treatment progress and update the treatment plan as needed.
• Provide thoughtful discharge planning to ensure the client's safe transitions.
• Provide crisis assessment and intervention as needed.

• Monitor caseloads and ensure that clinical staff provide evidence-based, strength-based, trauma-informed, client-centered approach, and culturally competent services in an ethical and legal manner, within scope of practice, and in accordance with program requirements, HealthRIGHT 360's policies and procedures, and all other regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain treatment plans.
• Ensure that clinical staff submits documentation in accordance with program requirements and HealthRIGHT 360's policies and procedures to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements.
• Review and sign off on American Science of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) assessments and treatment plans.
• First line of consultation for clinical staff regarding counseling functions, treatment methods, and client interventions.

• Interview, select, hire, and terminate staff in collaboration with Human Resources.
• Ensure that all direct reports are in compliance with HealthRIGHT 360's policies, procedures, position expectations, performance goals, and contractual requirements.
• Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, support, and conduct formal performance evaluations in a timely manner.
• Identify direct reports' strengths and weaknesses and strive to develop each team member to their fullest potential.
• Deliver and arrange training and resources to ensure that staff are successful in their roles.
• Ensure proper coverage of the program by creating work schedules and approving time away from work.
• Deliver all communications necessary to all team members to remain current with HealthRIGHT 360's policies and procedures and to inform them of quality-of-care concerns.
• Lead weekly staff meetings to discuss program updates, issues, policies, and procedures.

• Collaborate with the other departments to ensure compliance with policies and procedures as it relates to day-to-day clinical operations.
• Provide back-up coverage for other supervisors and managers as needed and as assigned to ensure that program requirements are met.
• Collaborate with the Program Director to develop, maintain, and implement systems, policies, procedures for the clinical staff to meet county contracts, performance requirements, treatment matrix, and other program requirements.
• Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
• Read and respond to emails as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited graduate school.
• Valid registration from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an AMFT, APCC, ACSW.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid California Driver's License and access to registered and insured transportation preferred.

• At least two years' experience treating clients with co-occurring use disorders.
• Experience providing supervision is preferred.
