A premier chemical manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team! This is an amazing opportunity to work with a team that is drives innovation across consumer markets like pharmaceuticals, food, and personal care. 
 

Schedule:

1st shift (flexible) plus on-call

Type of Job:  Temp to Hire  

Location : Dayton, OH

Responsibilities:

• Actively pursue and correct problems with components and systems throughout the facility
• Thorough knowledge of rotating equipment, specifically agitators and pumps.
• Perform mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation repair, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair, basic welding, and pipefitting
• Patrol production areas to inspect equipment and instruments for conditions requiring maintenance or shut down
• Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blue prints
• Work safely with both low and high voltage circuits and diagnose electric motor, motor control and device control problems.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience – chemical industry is preferred
• Knowledge of repairing and maintaining rotating equipment, machinery, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Able to be on-call
