DSIiscurrentlyexpandingitscorporateengineeringcapabilitiesandbuildingaworld-classengineeringorganizationtosupportcontinuedgrowthacrossmultiplebusinessunits.Thisisanopportunitytojoinagrowingteam,helpestablishengineeringstandards,developinnovativetechnicalsolutions,andcontributetoprojectsthathaveadirectimpactonsomeoftheworld'smostadvancedmanufacturingandtechnologyfacilities. PositionSummary Contributeshands-onengineeringdesignacrossdesign-buildanddesign-assistprojectsspanninghealthcare,education,mission-critical,commercial,andsimilarmarkets.Workscloselywithmodeling/BIMcoordinators,estimators,andtradepartnerstodevelopdesignsthatarepractical,efficient,andcost-effective,withexposuretoDSI'sVDCandCFDmodelingresourcesandregularfeedbackfromthefield. KeyResponsibilities Performintermediate-to-complexengineeringcalculations,includingheating/coolingloads,equipmentselectionandsizing,andfrictionlosscalculations Preparepreliminaryredlinedesignlayoutstosupportestimating Ownasinglephaseordefinedscopeofaproject'sengineeringdesign Provideguidanceandtechnicalsupporttolessexperiencedengineers Ensurecodecomplianceacrossassigneddesignwork Reviewapplicablecodesandcriteriaandexaminefieldconditionsasneededtosupportprojectdesign RequiredQualifications Four-yeardegreeinEngineeringorrelatedfield 3–4yearsofrelevantdesignengineeringexperience In-depthknowledgeofapplicablesystemsdesign(HVAC,plumbing,etc.)andgeneralunderstandingofsystemoperations Abilitytoreadandinterpretmechanicalandplumbingplans Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills Strongcomputerskills,includingCAD/BIMtoolsandMicrosoftOffice(includingExcel) PreferredQualifications PElicenseoractiveEITprogresstowardlicensure Design-buildordesign-assistprojectexperience ExposuretoVDC/BIMcoordinationorCFDmodelingworkflows BenefitsHighlights Competitivebasesalarycommensuratewithexperience 401(k)planwithcompanymatch Comprehensivemedical,dental,andvisioncoverage Paidholidays,vacation,andpersonaltime Training,professionaldevelopment,andsupportforlicensure/professionalassociationdues Performance-basedbonusopportunity PIe6c5e6bebbc8-37344-41304622
