Location: Portsmouth, OH Start Date: 08/04/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing Shift: Mon- Thurs, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (including 3-4 half-day clinics) Hours/week: Approximately 32 hours Employment Type: Contract / Per Diem License/Certs: Ohio license required; ACLS preferred Experience: 1+ year in urology or surgical specialty Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via Direct Deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program Dedicated 24/7 support from VHS team What You'll Do Assist with office procedures such as vasectomy, prostate biopsies, cystoscopy with stent removal, and prostate ultrasounds Coordinate patient consultations and follow-ups in a busy urological practice Support scheduling and documentation for both office and hospital procedures Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure quality patient care Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to clinical protocols Perform minor outpatient procedures in the clinic setting Engage in patient education and support What You Need Valid Ohio state license and certification in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Minimum 1 year of experience in urology or surgical subspecialty Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment Join a reputable healthcare facility serving the Portsmouth community.
