This role is responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, producing accurate nuclear medicine and cardiac images for interpretation, and supporting compliance with all state and federal regulations. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively with radiologists, cardiologists, and clinical teams to ensure safe, effective imaging services.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform nuclear medicine imaging proceduresProduce high-quality images for radiologist and cardiologist interpretationPrepare and administer radioisotopes under indirect supervision of a radiologistMaintain professionalism and positive customer relations with patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkersSupport compliance with state and federal regulatory requirementsMaintain proper care and handling of supplies and equipmentFollow established safety, quality, and clinical standardsPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications / TrainingCompletion of an AMA-approved program in Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology with on-the-job trainingMulti-modality capability preferred or willingness to cross-trainLicenses & CertificationsNuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT or NMTCB) required within 6 months of hireBasic Life Support (BLS) requiredSCQRSA required
