Cardiovascular Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 4 days a week with weekend rotation. On-call shifts include one weekend and approximately 4-5 days per month.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Technologist will be responsible for performing various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to cardiology. The role includes operating medical imaging equipment and providing direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiovascular tests and procedures with precision.
• Utilize Cannon and Siemens equipment effectively.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
• AART certification with cardiology experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic software is an advantage.
• Valid state licensure or certification as required for the role.
