REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRED EXPERINCE: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors Degree is preferred. Training and combination of relevant Facilities Maintenance and Supervisory experience is required. Seven years experience in maintenance services field or related areas Three years of supervisory experience Valid Drivers’ License. Licensure or certificate in a trade is preferred. Must have comprehensive knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and life safety equipment. Must have thorough knowledge of preventative maintenance practices, repair techniques, and safety regulations relevant to residential and commercial facilities, especially within our senior environment. Familiarity with local building codes, Osha standards, and fire safety requirements is essential. Must be able to grasp, lift, reach, and perform medium physical work, exerting up to 30 pounds of force on a frequent basis and 60 pounds on an occasional basis.
