Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector Responsible for receiving, in-process, and final inspections/audits of parts, assemblies, and processes to meet customer specifications, purchase orders, and quality requirements. This role involves determining part conformity, compliance, and ensuring that products are suitable for use by customers. Responsibilities Inspect and audit products using basic variable or attribute measuring equipment and record results to ensure conformance with part and customer requirements. Read and understand aerospace specifications, military specifications, industry specifications, and/or manufacturing instructions. Read and interpret basic print requirements. Review, control, and maintain paperwork, documents, certifications, and records. Process Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs). Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives companywide. Complete other duties, reporting, special assignments, or projects as needed and assigned. Remain current with and complete all required training as assigned. Adhere to company Corporate EHS Policy and department, occupation, and task-specific safety protocols, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. Essential Skills Inspection Quality control Quality assurance Visual inspection Quality check Competency with metrology equipment Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Digital imaging skills Adobe Acrobat proficiency High School diploma or equivalent Work Environment This position operates during the 1st shift, from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with additional hours from 6:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
