Job Reference Number: 39347 Employment Type: Part-Time, Onsite Segment: Healthcare Brand: Cura-Hospitality Location: Parsons, Kansas (US-KS) Role Overview Kura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Part‑Time Casual Registered Dietitian in Parsons, KS. The position is scheduled for 9 hours per week, with flexible daily scheduling. The dietitian will identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate nutrition interventions, and collaborate with the health care team. Responsibilities include providing nutritional expertise, educating patients/residents and staff, following Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, developing policies, and participating in continuous quality improvement. Working location: Parsons Presbyterian Manor, Parsons, KS. Responsibilities Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants. Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements. Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition. Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field. Master's degree in Nutrition or related field. Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics eligibility requirements. Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR, using professional portfolio development. Licensed or certified, per state requirements. Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights. Ability to teach others, specifically regarding nutrition and dietetics. Nice-to-Haves Experience working in healthcare or long‑term care settings. Compensation $33.00 – $36.00 per hour, depending on experience.
