Outpatient Therapist (Licensed or Associate-Level Clinician)

Location: Wake, Alamance, Caswell, Mecklenburg, and surrounding North Carolina counties
Compensation: $45–$75 per clinical hour

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled licensed and associate-level therapists to provide outpatient behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Therapists provide individual and family therapy while supporting clients through assessment, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and ongoing care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families
• Complete clinical assessments and treatment plans
• Maintain timely, accurate, and Medicaid-compliant documentation
• Assess safety concerns and provide crisis support as needed
• Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, and community support systems
• Participate in clinical supervision and quality review processes
• Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, ethical, and North Carolina Medicaid requirements

Qualifications

Eligible licenses may include:

• LCSW / LCSWA
• LCMHC / LCMHCA
• LMFT / LMFTA
• LPA
• LCAS / LCASA
• Other eligible North Carolina behavioral health licenses

Associate-level clinicians are encouraged to apply and must maintain required clinical supervision.

• North Carolina Medicaid
• Outpatient therapy
• Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCA)
• Working with children and families
• Supporting individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
• Substance use treatment
• NPI and payer credentialing
