About the Role: As an Activities Assistant , you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing various activities for our residents, including arts and crafts, games, outdoor events, and more. Your primary focus will be on creating a sense of community among our residents, encouraging socialization and reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation. Responsibilities: Plan and implement activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, and outdoor events Encourage resident participation and engagement in activities Communicate with residents, families, and staff to gather input and feedback on activities Maintain accurate records of activity attendance and participation Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation Provide support to residents with daily living activities, as needed Requirements: 0 years of experience in activities or related field (new graduates welcome to apply!) High school diploma or equivalent required Previous nursing home experience preffered.
