Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO is seeking a new propulsion component engineer. In this role you will support the design, development, testing, procurement, and integration of a propulsion component into the propulsion subsystem. Responsibilities Serve as the responsible engineer and hardware expert for propulsion valves. Support the propulsion subsystem responsible engineer. Interface with the supplier throughout the design, build, test, and delivery of the component. Interface with the using program(s) and be the technical advocate for the component. Develop and verify component requirements. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering or in a related discipline Ability to work in a collaborative and highly integrated team environment 5+ years of propulsion valve experience Experience with propulsion hardware technical ownership Understanding of propulsion engineering principals Excellent written and verbal communication skills Microsoft Office skills Desired Skills Knowledge of propulsion subsystems and component functions Propulsion valve design, manufacturing, and testing experience Experience with supplier interactions Experience with component requirement writing Experience with EEE parts Experience with cold gas, monopropellant, and/or bipropellant propulsion systems Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
