Quality Inspector - Electromechanical

Key Responsibilities Incoming inspection from external providers of products or services/processing (e.g., nickel plating) In-process and final inspection of critical features such as witness inspection Compilation of final inspection sign-off sheet and report packages Verification that inspection equipment used to take measurements is capable of detecting defects Verification that inspection methodology is adequate per drawing intent Audit and validate the execution to the inspection plan Provide weekly reports of manufacturing sites ramp progress, equipment quality performance of the facility, delivery details by Data Center site Conduct periodic quality audits of the supplier’s factory, provide reports of results Drive closure of findings identified as non-conformance Ensuring supplier’s quality control system documents the findings Provide customer witness for test scripts, including but not limited to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for all equipment; validate equipment is acceptable with no issues and compliant to the Level1 commissioning process (Red/Orange tags) before shipment to the Data Center Be the on-site support representing Google Inspection of rivets and mechanical assembly Ability to read diagram for wiring assembly Required Qualifications Experience with inspecting electromechanical components preferably cooling systems Welding experience and inspection techniques of weld integrity 5 years professional experience OR 3 years with ASME or CWI certification #J-18808-Ljbffr
