The Security Professional Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. The Security Professional Flex Officer may be called upon to work irregular shifts at times with little to no advance notice. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday & Sunday What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including entrances, parking areas, hallways, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, assisting with visitor screening, directions, and reporting of suspicious conditions, hazards, and/or policy concerns. Support healthcare operations by helping to maintain order in public areas, assisting with de‑escalation when appropriate, and following Allied Universal and site‑specific protocols. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Meet hospital vaccine requirements. Be able to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be able to restrain individuals, as required in a hospital environment. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
