Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) nurse position in a healthcare facility located in the region. This role involves providing critical care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced emergency setting. The position offers a weekly schedule of night shifts and requires flexibility to float between units such as Pediatrics and general Emergency Department.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, PALS; 2 years of ER nursing experience; current license (compact license accepted at submission).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma level I or II, pediatric emergency care, and electronic charting systems in Epic.
• Float: Float to pediatric units and support to other ER areas may be required.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to work three of the five major holidays. Candidates should respond to pre-submitted screening questions regarding prior employment at a healthcare facility, including location and dates worked. References are required covering one year (6 months for CNAs) within the last three years.

• RTO Restrictions: RTO must be included at time of submission; no more than 7 days for the offer to avoid delays; specific scheduling requests should be included upfront.
• Lines of Responsibility: Includes management of arterial lines, ventilated patients, trauma, stroke, neuro-trauma, pediatric emergencies, and other critical care responsibilities.
