The facility operates with a strong support team including RN navigators, multiple physicians, and advanced practice providers, ensuring excellent patient care and professional collaboration in both hospital and clinic settings.

Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic surgery coverage with OR experience required
• Manage 5-10 hospital patients per day with 0-3 admissions and 2-7 ICU patients
• Assist with 1-2 surgeries daily including general cardiovascular and thoracic open procedures
• Perform coronary artery bypass surgery on pump, valvular repair and replacement
• Handle evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues and central line insertion
• Work in 95% hospital and 5% office/clinic setting with full scope practice expectations
• Must assist in OR and provide rounding and clinic support as needed
• Schedule includes Monday-Friday with call coverage (1-2 weekdays and weekends)
• Night call shifts from 5pm to 7am with 24-hour coverage responsibilities
• Experience required in cardiothoracic surgery for both OR and acute care/ICU patient management
• Must be certified Nurse Practitioner with Washington state license highly preferred
• Clean malpractice and background history required
• Local candidates strongly preferred with no flight requirements
• Credentialing timeframe is 3+ months
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
• Electronic medical records system: EPIC

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
