Job Responsibilities

• Craft Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional goals
• Pursue Therapeutic Interventions: Implement research-based approaches to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in tandem with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Provide education to patients and their families on therapy methodologies to facilitate progress at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to keep patients on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized accredited institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or additional certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
