About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years preferred License: Pending state license accepted Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Travel experience required Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. Two years of experience in an Operating Room setting is preferred. Previous travel experience is also preferred. Call is required as per a 6-week schedule. This includes approximately three weeknight call shifts from 1700 to 2200. Weekend call includes two to three 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate must have skills in various surgical procedures. Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred. The unit serves a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census in the Operating Room is around 35 patients. Interdisciplinary support is provided by several services, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates should be prepared to float to similar units as needed.
