Industrial ElectricianPay: $32.00 per hour Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Mining / Aggregate / IndustrialWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment throughout an active plant operation. This position will work with electrical systems up to 440 volts, with a significant focus on maintaining and troubleshooting crushers and related plant equipment.The ideal candidate will have strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills and be comfortable working hands-on in a heavy industrial environment.Job ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical problems throughout the plantWork safely with electrical systems and equipment up to 440 voltsTroubleshoot and repair electrical issues involving crushers and crusher-related equipmentPerform electrical maintenance on plant machinery, motors, controls, and related equipmentIdentify electrical failures and determine the appropriate repairsPerform preventive electrical maintenance to reduce equipment downtimeRepair or replace defective electrical components and wiringInspect equipment and electrical systems for potential problemsTest equipment following repairs to ensure safe and proper operationUse hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and other maintenance toolsAssist with equipment breakdowns and emergency repairsWork alongside maintenance personnel to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issuesClimb ladders and access plant machinery as necessary to complete repairsMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform additional plant maintenance duties as neededFollow all company and MSHA safety requirementsQualificationsPrevious experience as an Industrial Electrician, Plant Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or similar roleExperience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical equipmentAbility to safely work with electrical systems up to 440 voltsStrong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience working with crushers, aggregate equipment, mining equipment, or similar heavy industrial machinery is highly preferredAbility to troubleshoot motors, wiring, controls, and other plant electrical componentsComfortable using electrical testing and diagnostic equipmentAbility to work independently and respond to equipment breakdownsStrong safety awareness and attention to detailExperience in a mining, quarry, aggregate, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk, climb ladders, bend, reach, twist, and work around large plant equipmentAbility to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditionsMust be comfortable working around active heavy machineryMust be able to visually observe equipment and respond to audible work and safety signalsSome plant maintenance work may require working at elevated heightsWork EnvironmentThis position works in an active mining/aggregate plant environment.
