AI-Mechanical engineer Contract Position

Apply software engineering and AI expertise to develop intelligent applications and services that improve business processes, engineering workflows, automation, productivity, and overall system capabilities.

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain AI applications, Generative AI solutions, AI agents, agent orchestration workflows, and supporting software services using Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG, automation, and modern AI engineering technologies.

• Drive the technical strategy, architecture, design, and development of cloud-native AI and software solutions, leading activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, technical planning, implementation, testing, deployment, release, and production support.

• Design and develop scalable software applications using Python, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and related software development technologies.

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native applications and AI platforms using AWS and related cloud technologies, with focus on scalability, security, reliability, performance, and maintainability.

• Contribute to the design and development of Digital Twin and simulation solutions using technologies such as NVIDIA Omniverse, integrating 3D models, simulation environments, engineering data, software services, and AI capabilities to support visualization, analysis, monitoring, and intelligent engineering applications.

• Establish and apply software engineering best practices, including coding standards, architecture and design practices, code reviews, testing frameworks, security practices, documentation, and development standards.

• Oversee the deployment, operation, reliability, scalability, performance, monitoring, and production support of AI applications and software platforms, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

• Develop and execute software and AI testing and validation activities, including unit, integration, regression, performance, and functional testing, as well as validation of AI-enabled functionality.

• Partner with product owners, architects, data scientists, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define requirements, evaluate technical solutions, develop architecture, and deliver AI-enabled software capabilities.

• Lead technical planning, release planning, project execution, resource coordination, dependency management, and risk management across software engineering and AI initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement in engineering productivity, software quality, automation, observability, and development processes through the effective use of modern software engineering and AI technologies.

• Conduct technical research, prototyping, proof-of-concept development, and technology evaluations involving AI, Generative AI, Digital Twins, simulation, cloud computing, automation, and emerging software technologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate development activities, conduct technical discussions and design reviews, resolve technical issues, and support successful delivery.

• Ensure software and AI solutions follow enterprise security, governance, responsible AI, data protection, and access-control requirements.

• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to engineering team members and promote effective software engineering and AI development practices.

• Perform related responsibilities involving software engineering, AI development, architecture, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, research, documentation, and technical support in support of organizational and client requirements.
