Material Handler - 1st Shift

Randstad is hiring skilled material handlers. Join the founding team at a brand-new, modern distribution and warehousing facility in Milwaukee. We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious 1st Shift Material Handlers to support day-one operations, establish warehouse workflow, and manage incoming and outgoing freight.

salary: $22.5 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 3:30 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks, freight, and containers using manual or motorized equipment.
- Inventory Management: Sort, label, catalog, and store incoming stock in designated warehouse locations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage materials for outbound shipments and internal production lines.
- Record Keeping: Update inventory logs, complete shipping documentation, and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Quality & Safety: Inspect incoming goods for defects, report discrepancies, and maintain strict workplace safety and PPE standards.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 7 hours at one time
• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
