Maintenance Technician II

Job Description A client of insight global is looking for maintenance technicians to support their hospital facility in Matthews, NC. Day to day responsibilities will include general maintenance and repairs for the following systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection systems, exterior finishes, elevators, nurse call, Pneumatic tubes, and anything within the hospital wall that is non-clinical. These technicians usually see 10-20 work orders per day. If something cannot be fixed by these technicians, it will be escalated to a 3rd party vendor. This technician will also conduct biweekly, quarterly, semiannually, and annual preventative maintenance including inspections and testing on specific equipment. This will be a 2nd shift opening that is Monday-Friday (2:30/3pm-11pm at the latest). While on contract they will not be required to work on call over the weekend but once converted to a full time role they will be required to work on call for the weekends every 5 weeks.
