Assignment Overview

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit. This role requires a nurse with experience in telemetry, cardiac medications, and infusion management. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of nursing experience in a similar care setting and be prepared to care for patients with various cardiac conditions.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient ratios: 1:4

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a 30-bed cardiac step-down unit
• Administer and manage cardiac medications and infusions
• Interpret cardiac rhythms
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
• Utilize PPE and adhere to isolation precautions

Qualifications

Required:

• 1 year of experience in PCU or similar unit
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with cardiac medications and infusion
• Skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, Central line care, Telemetry, and more

Preferred:

• Cerner experience
• Previous charge nurse experience
