Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in Lincoln, Illinois. The position involves working in a critical access, magnet, and teaching facility with a level trauma designation. The RN will provide specialized care on a 30-bed unit, primarily during night shifts of 3x12 hours (1830-0700). Candidates must bring their Illinois license on the first day. The role requires a minimum of three years of relevant experience, with a focus on telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and complex patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Lincoln, Illinois
• Shift: 3x12 Nights (1830-0700)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Illinois license, ACLS, BLS, minimum 3 years experience, Cerner EMR familiarity, candidate must be pre-closed at the time of submission, SSN and DOB required at submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: NIHSS certification, experience with renal failure patients, total joint replacements, external CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), wound vacs, and blood product administration.
• Additional information:
  • Experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of cardiac protocols such as titration of insulin and vasoactive drips.
  • Skills in nasogastric feeding tube care, IV therapy including ports, PICC lines, and central lines, as well as tracheostomy management.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices, wound care, and use of rapid response teams.
  • Open to discussing schedule requests and time off with the manager.
  • Candidate must review and understand the job requirements, complete all compliance and orientation modules before start, and confirm housing arrangements.
