RN CVOR - Per Diem Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 06:30 PM - 06:30 AM.

The RN CVOR provides specialized care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. This role supports complex surgical procedures and ensures patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery. The nurse must collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain surgical equipment and ensure a sterile environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active nursing license verification.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination.
• COVID-19 Vaccine documentation.
• Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing preferred.
