As a Security Officer Outdoor Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support people first, work with a dependable team, and bring agility, innovation, and integrity to every interaction throughout the property.

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and assigned security-related responsibilities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or property-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, loading areas, and other access points to help support authorized entry, observe site activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site-specific expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
