About the Position

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service. License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Provider certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification, Advanced Life Support certification, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification. Must-Have: - Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing. - Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service. Description: This position is specifically for the Women's OB ED. The facility consists of 26 LDR suites, 6 C-section suites, 14 Triage rooms, 60 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms, and 15 monitored Ante-partum rooms. It operates as an academic teaching service as well as a large private OB practice. The setting provides a high-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500 deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. The Women's ED sees an expanded scope of low acuity women and patients 16 weeks pregnant to 6 weeks postpartum. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high volume delivery service, S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification.
