Working in a fast-paced casino restaurant environment,the LineCook ensures timely service, consistency, and exceptional guest satisfaction while supporting Tribal values and hospitalitystandards. Requirements Required Qualifications Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (casino or high-volume restaurant experience a plus) Culinary training or certification is a plus but not required Licenses, Certifications, and Requirements FoodHandlers Card or ability to obtain within required timeframe Must meet Tribal Casino employment eligibility requirements Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by Tribal Gaming Authority Working Conditions Fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, noise, and sharp equipment Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (casino or high-volume restaurant experience a plus) Employment Disclaimer Nothing in this job description alters the at-will nature of employment or creates a contract of employment. Summary Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food handling and storage Assistwith prep work such as chopping, portioning, and marinating ingredients Work efficiently during high-volume service periods, including weekends, holidays, and special events Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control Comply with all casino policies, Tribal laws, and regulatory requirements Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchen Supervisor or Executive Chef All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and safety procedures Strong time management and multitasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds #J-18808-Ljbffr
