Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse in Salem, Massachusetts. This position involves providing perioperative nursing care in a Level III Trauma Operating Room with a diverse patient population, including Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric patients. The role includes working a rotating schedule with shifts in days, evenings, and weekends, with on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating Days/Evenings, with 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Schedule: Day rotate requires rotation to 2-3 evenings per 4-week schedule; weekend rotation requires 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule; night shift rotation is not required.
• Required Qualifications: Massachusetts RN License, American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification, 2 years of nursing experience, and a minimum of 1-2 years of operating room experience. Experience with Mako and Davinci surgical systems, basic aseptic technique, circulating independently, and multispecialty competence.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification, scrub experience.
• Client to Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric patients
• Unit Description: Level III Trauma Operating Room; complex community setting with approximately 30-40 patients per day.
• Charting System: EPIC
• Float: No floating required.
• Additional Information: The role involves performing surgical procedures with a focus on complex cases, utilizing Mako and Davinci systems, ensuring patient safety and adherence to aseptic protocols.
