Registered Nurse - Operating Room
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in surgical nursing and a focus on providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub for various surgical procedures including General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal.
- Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure effective and safe operations.
- Utilize Epic and Pyxis systems for patient management and medication administration.
- Maintain a sterile environment and strict adherence to infection control protocols.
- Participate in emergency procedures, as needed.
- Handle floats within the facility in alignment with scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an operating room setting; first-time travelers are welcome.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proven experience in circulating and scrubbing roles.
- Experience with Davinci XI Robots is a plus.
Schedule and Availability
- Day shifts, 4x10 hour format (06:30 - 17:00).
- Require 2-3 weekends per 8-week schedule, either in-house or on call.
- Expectation to take 7-8 call shifts in an 8-week schedule, including weekend and night shifts.
- Availability during holidays as specified, with flexibility to work during major holidays.
Compliance and Orientation
- Full compliance required to start on time; late compliance could result in delayed start date.
- Orientation hours will vary based on contract length.

- Scrub colors are provided by the facility.
