Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs in an outpatient clinic setting
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
• Supervise PT Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient chart documentation including prescriptions, test results, and authorizations
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy policies and OSHA federal and state regulations

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of California (or eligibility to test in the near future)
• Degree in Physical Therapy
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and familiarity with PT billing procedures
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and assist patients with transfers, mobility, and walking safety
• Ability to remain physically mobile, including standing, walking, and sitting for 8–10 hour shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Continuing Education coursework relevant to physical therapy
• Experience with outpatient or rehabilitation clinic environments
• Familiarity with Medicare, workers' compensation, and various payer billing procedures
